The latest numbers from the GTA tell a story of two very different markets. Single-family home sales have jumped 50% above average, reaching 781 units—thanks in part to the expanded HST rebate. Meanwhile, condo sales have slowed dramatically, dropping 80% below average with only 237 units sold. We’re also seeing single-family home prices come down by 8.5% to $1.36M, while condo prices have edged up 2.5% to $1.05M. Right now, inventory sits at 18,546 units.
After nearly three decades in real estate, I’ve learned that these shifts aren’t just numbers—they have a real impact on the lives and decisions of buyers and sellers. Whether you’re weighing the benefits of a single-family home or considering a condo, I believe you deserve straightforward, honest guidance through every change in the market. My focus has always been on listening and supporting you as you move through each stage of homeownership. If you have questions or just need to talk through what these changes might mean for your plans, I’m here to help you navigate with clarity and confidence.
